How much will it cost?
Design is a bit like building a house. It depends on the choices you make around time, difficulty, deadline, administration, materials, number of concepts and alterations – these all affect the total cost. Here’s how we can work together:
Per hour
You can hire me on an hourly rate of $120+gst per hour. Invoiced weekly.
Good if you like to work iteratively and need flexibility.
Per project
To discuss your project, please contact me and we can have a chat through your requirements and agree on a scope of works. I’ll provide you with a quote and you can decide whether you want to go ahead. Invoiced with a deposit and progress payments fortnightly or monthly.
Good if you know what you want, have a specific, well-defined project with little likelihood of scope change.
Retainer
A monthly fee in exchange for an agreed upon amount of hours dedicated to your work. Invoiced monthly.
Good if you have regular or ongoing projects, or have a busy period but don’t necessarily want to hire someone in-house.
Rush
If you need something completed within 24-48 hours, please check with me on my availability to take on your rush job. Charged at 1.5 x my hourly rate as I’m usually booked up at least a week in advance. Invoiced up-front.
Good if you’re in a pickle, need something done ASAP and don’t mind paying extra for the rush.
Other costs – I charge a 20% service fee for client approved external purchases and services that are billed to me.
